The documentary record for Criterion 4 is built entirely around peer review for one journal: Oral Diseases, published by Wiley. Five documents are in evidence. Two are invitation/acceptance emails (one from March 2022 for manuscript ODI-12-21-OA-10595.R1, and one from June 2023 for the revised manuscript ODI-04-23-12408.R1).
Two are editorial thank-you emails acknowledging completed reviews (May 2023 for the initial submission and July 2023 for the revised version of ODI-04-23-12408). The fifth is a Wiley-issued reviewer certificate email for 2023, acknowledging review contributions on behalf of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board.
The critical challenge for this criterion is demonstrating actual participation, not merely invitation. USCIS has long held that an invitation alone is insufficient. The combination of the July 2023 editorial confirmation and the May 2023 thank-you for an "excellent and critical review" collectively establish the invitation-acceptance-completion chain across multiple review events.
Criterion 4: Participation as a Judge of the Work of Others in the Same or Allied Field
I have participated as a peer reviewer, individually, for Oral Diseases, a peer-reviewed journal published by Wiley, evaluating manuscripts submitted by independent researchers in oral medicine and dentistry. The evidence covers at least two distinct manuscripts reviewed between 2022 and 2023, and each review is supported by documentary confirmation that I completed the evaluative work, not merely that I was invited to do so.
Peer Review for Scholarly Journals
I have served as a peer reviewer for Oral Diseases (Wiley). Two manuscripts were assigned to me for evaluation between 2022 and 2023, and both review events are supported by invitation records, acceptance confirmations, and editorial acknowledgements of completed work. The first manuscript, ODI-12-21-OA-10595.R1, was entitled "Dental management before radiotherapy of the head and neck region: a 4-year single center experience."
In recognition of my 2023 review contributions as a whole, Wiley issued a formal Reviewer Certificate for 2023, expressly appreciated by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board of Oral Diseases.
